My feelings right now could be described as a healthy mix of bored + satisfied, discontent + grateful, calm + anxious, vulnerable + prepared... The list goes on.
This weekend I was able to read a book that wasn't medical related while basking in the sunshine (s/o to Ohio weather). I went on a leisurely paced walk through the neighborhood with my dogs and boyfriend. I enjoyed scrumptious bratwursts made on the grill. I streamed my church service online from the comfort of my couch. I was defeated numerous times in Mario Kart. I was tasked with giving my littlest digging-obsessed pup a much needed bath. I plucked my eyebrows (also much needed). I struggled through a couple home workouts. I was enlightened about Joe Exotic and all things Tiger.
I found myself genuinely fulfilled by the simplicity of my weekend. At the conclusion of my Sunday, as I laid in the grass looking up at the sky, I felt like a kid again.
