There is no amount of preparation that you'll be able to do in a matter of a few months that will make any impact on your success in PA school. Being the over-achieved that you are, you'll be tempted to pull out your old anatomy notes or begin reading your required materials. Resist the urge. You're going to have your head buried in books for the next 2-3 years. The best thing you can do is to allow yourself some freedom before your first day. ⁣

Once PA school starts, your time will be precious and limited. Whether you're in state or out of state, you will most likely have to sacrifice time with your loved ones. Take advantage of the time you have now. ⁣

Cross a couple of items off your bucket list. Spend your time doing things that make you happy - concerts, road trips, exercise classes, photography, hiking. It will be harder to find time to do these things once school starts.⁣

Allow yourself to do nothing. Take advantage of the slower pace. Rest up. Take that nap. Binge that Netflix show. You've worked so hard to get where you are. You deserve it.⁣

What big plans do you have before PA school starts?
