PERTIENTENT ROTATIONS
Think about setting (inpatient vs. outpatient vs. OR), management of care (acute vs. chronic), patient population, and any cross over in knowledge. If I’m applying for a job in family medicine, I include the following rotations: family medicine, internal medicine, and emergency medicine.
WORK EXPERIENCE
Determine whether your prior work experience is applicable. If I’m applying for a job in the emergency department, I include my experience as a NA/HUC in the ED but will likely leave out my job as a PCA in an ALF.
